This piece continues the exploration of inner life through the recurring presence of blue-skinned figures—ÀWỌN INÚ, “the inner ones.”
Emerging from water and framed by shifting skies, these figures exist in a space between exposure and concealment, between what is felt and what is shown. Water functions as both setting and metaphor—still, enveloping, and patient.
Suggesting emotional endurance, an ongoing negotiation with memory, feeling, and selfhood. The water becomes a threshold: a place of emotional depth, transition, and reflection.
